Workshops designed for the out of town students of Book Arts who
want "one on one" instruction.
Classes are limited to 2-4 students.
Participants choose workshop focus, fellow students, number of
days and workshop dates

Fee for all workshops is $350 per student per day and includes:
Workshop fee
Materials fee
Lodging 24 hour access to studio and tools
catered lunch

Workshops are held at Bookstone Bungalow & Studio, a 1927 three bedroom home in a quiet West Asheville neighborhood. The Bungalow features a dedicated studio workspace, book arts library and collection, a full kitchen, nice front porch and sitting area with gas fireplace. The Bungalow is located within easy walking distance to Historic West Asheville where you will find a food co-op, bakery, bars, restaurants, antique shops and more. The Bungalow is located one mile from BookWorks and 2½ miles from Downtown Asheville.

There is no television, phone or internet at the Bungalow. (There is internet available at the bakery in downtown West Asheville.)

Students attending workshops at BookWorks are also invited to stay at Bookstone Bungalow & Studio
for $100 a night if available.
